Note
|
History told by Soon-hee Kim Suh While Aunt So-aae lived in Pyung-yang, she met our mother, Ahn Im-ja in the church, and arranged to introduce her to her brother Kim Bong-kuk, who was visiting her. He was just returning from Japan where he worked and studied for three years. Our father was on his way to Jung-ju/Oh-san (North of Pyung-yang) to work with his closest friend Lee Chan-kap. Our parents married in November, 1931 in the Anglican church in a Christian ceremony. Anglican priest Hwang presided over the ceremony. |
