|
Janet was born and raised in Dalbeattie. Her grandfather was James Hunter son of James Hunter and Margaret Dodds Hunter. We know that he was a shepherd. His wife Janet McKie Hunter had 3 sets of twins as well as James, Catherine, Margaret and Joseph but my granny Constance was the only twin to survive. Her twin was David. Janet Mckie Hunter died after giving birth to Joseph. He was raised by his aunt Isabella Hunter who married James Campbell. |
