Purchased estates in the parishes of Clipstone, Sibbertoft, Oxendon, and Arthingworth

Identified in his grandmothers, Mary Nethercoat, Will to receive the residue (bulk) of the esTate and to be Executor

Poem found in the Sibbertoft, Northampton Parish Register, April 1749.

"Reader view well this Ragged Book,
On every page attentive look.
Here mayst thou see how we began,
And when we ripen'd into Man.
Few leaves our birth and death divide,
The space between is all our Pride.
We marry with a pleasing Heart,
But soon both man and Wife depart.
Reader consider there's a space
Whereon thy name some hand shall place.
What then & why then it will be seen
Here only liv'd & Dy'd ..................JN"

The initials JN possibly refer to John Nethercoat, who was living in Sibbertoft at the time.
