Note	Info from "Humboldt History Book" Evie married David Grisdale in 1934. It was the second wedding in Brithdir Church after it was moved and the last one for some years. We farmed in Glynfield area for 10 years. Sons Fred and Mervyn were born there and Fred attended school for two years before we moved to Weekes, Saskatchewan. Russian thistle drove us from the Glynfield area. We have sad memoriesof 100 acres of flax being burned prior to our departure. We both enjoyed our time there though. David played in the orchestra for years. We enjoyed the curling, too and we are still ardent curlers. Our family is too,. Another son Doug, was born at Weekes. All the boys farm here and Fred has the Insurance as well. We have 7 grandchildren, four graduated from school. We had the first combine and caterpillar tractor in our area.
