Irene Alice Campbell grew up in the Hillsley District, which is near Humboldt Saskatchewan. She married Dennis Cox on October 21, 1941, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. They moved to Weekes, Saskatchewan, in 1950 where they farmed until 1978 when they retired to Melfort, Saskatchewan. Irene loved to spend her time in her kitchen and her garden. She had a special talent for doing needlework, sewing and crafts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and neighbours. Irene passed away on Thursday November 23rd, at the Melfort Hospital following a brief struggle with cancer. |
