Note
|
Nynetjer or Ninetjer was the third King of the Second dynasty of Egypt. His name translates as "Godlike" in English. It is possible that Nynetjer was a son of Raneb. Ninetjer is mentioned on the Palermo Stone and also from mud seals found in an underground gallery at Saqqara which may have been his tomb. There are numerous objects from his reign which is believed to have been fairly Long and prosperous. Toby Wilkinson's analysis of the Palermo Stone and Cairo Fragment One (CF1), concluded that Ninetjer had a reign of "40 complete or partial years." He further notes that Palermo Stone Register IV details years 6-21 of Ninetjer's reign whileCairo Fragment One records the final years of this King's reign. |
