Nefermaat II was an Egyptian prince during the 4th dynasty and vizier of his cousin Khafra. He was a son of Princess Nefertkau I, a grandson of Pharaoh Sneferu, nephew of Nefermaat I, Sneferu's eldest son, and cousin to architect Hemiunu. Nefermaat II was called King's son of his body, so it is possible that his father was a King, maybe Khufu, Nefertkau's half-brother. He had one son, Sneferukhaf, whom he named after Sneferu. |
