Meribre Khety I was the first pharaoh of Egypt in the 9th Dynasty (2160-2130 BC), third of five dynasties in the First Intermediate Period. Manetho states that Acthoes founded this dynasty. The Turin King List has 18 Kings reigning in the Ninth and Tenth Dynasties. Of these, twelve names are missing and four are partial. |
