Khenemetneferhedjet I Weret was an ancient Egyptian queen of the 12th dynasty, a wife of Senusret II and the mother of Senusret III.

She is likely to be same person who is mentioned as the daughter of Amenemhat I on a seal (now located in New York, USA). This would mean she was the sister of her husband. She and Nofret II have been definitely identified as two of the queenconsorts of Senusret II; two other possible wives are Khenemet and Itaweret. All were also his sisters. She was probably buried in the Kahun pyramid complex built by her husband.

Her titles were: King's Wife; King's Mother; Lady of the Two Lands; King's Daughter (the latter only if she is the same person as the princess named on the seal of Amenemhat II.

Khakeperre Senusret II was a pharaoh of Egypt in the 12th dynasty (1991-1803 BC), second of two dynasties in the Middle Kingdom Period.

His pyramid was constructed at El-Lahun. Senusret II took a great deal of interest in the Faiyum oasis region and began Work on an extensive irrigation system from Bahr Yusuf through to Lake Moeris through the construction of a dike at El-Lahunand the addition of a netWork of drainage canals. The purpose of his project was to increase the amount of cultivable land in that area. The importance of this project is emphasized by Senusret II's decision to move the royal necropolis fromDahshur to El-Lahun where he built his pyramid. This location would remain the political capital for the 12th and 13th Dynasties of Egypt. The king also established the first known Workers' quarter in the nearby town of Senusrethotep (Kahun).

It has been speculated that, based on historical dating and the accomplishments of Senusret II, he may be the unnamed Pharaoh mentioned in the biblical story of Joseph.
