Note	Easter appears to have been named after her Grandmother (Easter Sargant), but her name evolved into the more popular version of 'Esther' at a young age by which she was known throughout her life. She was born on February 15, 1884 in London and married Harry Stephenson on August 30, 1903 at St. James Church, Clerkenwell, London. Harry was the son of James Stephenson and Ellen (nee Overgage), and one of eight known children. He was born at 12 Albert Place, Bromley, Kent on November 2, 1875. Harry and 'Esther' had two sons, the first being William George Henry Stephenson, born May 31, 1905 in the Clerkenwell district of London. Sometime between then and 1917, the family immigrated to Adelaide, South Australia, where Esther's Uncle William Binks had gone when she was a child. In about 1917 Harry and Esther had their other son, Ernest Charles Frank Stephenson. Esther was very homesick in Australia and kept in regular contact with her brothers and sisters back home in England usually signing her letters and postcards with her pet name of 'Ciss'. She was particularly close to her sister, May, and brother, 'Ernie'. Esther died on June 13, 1956 in Adelaide, and Harry on January 18, 1961.
