Note	Born October 14, 1870 at 6 Wilson Place, St. Pancras. Alfred's occupation is not known, but we do know he immigrated to the U.S.A. before 1897 and settled initially in Tarrant, Texas. Indeed he probably resided in Ward County, Texas at some point as a reference to land ownership rights has been found for that county bearing his name. (WARD COUNTY TEXAS Land Survey Abstract Indices of the Original Land Owners of Texas). He married Anna Belle Boswell (born January 17, 1875 in Tarrant, Texas) in Fort Worth on April 7, 1897. Three of their four known children were born in Texas, but their third child (Myra Belle Binks) was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, where the family may have resided during 1902. It is also very likely that the entire family moved north to California later on. Nothing more is known about Alfred John Binks.
