Note

Death of a Pioneer.
By advices received on Thursday it appears that David Adams of Escalnte died suddenly of Apoplexy, a few days previously. He was on the way to his ranch, in company with some others, and when a few miles from the town, dropped down suddenly and expired at once. Mr Adams was a pioneer in this part of the country, having been one of the founders of Beaver, as well as of Adamsville after whom the latter town was named. He built the iron furnace there, and was always foremost in matters advancing the welfare of the public. He was probably past sixty years of age, and highly respected by his aquaintances.-Beaver Enterprise
