Note
|
Mary Adam's death occurred aboard the Steamboat Mary, traveling down the Missouri River. Mary and her two little girls, Ann & Mary, all died of cholera and were buried in the river. The bedding and most of the clothes were thrown in the river for these items were not allowed to remain on the ship after the disease broke out. Her son, Adam, previously died in Scotland. |
