MARCELLA J. SCHAAD - born Oct. 26, 1927 died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001 in Mildred. She was born in Lopez the daughter of the late Floyd and Della Steafather. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel F. and Linda Schaad of Mildred; daughter, Susan S. Soden of Columbia, Pa.; one granddaughter, Danielle Ann Schaad and four grandsons, Corey D. Schaad, Kyle C. Schaad, Vincent R. Soden and Justin D. Soden. She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin J. Schaad. She graduated from the Dushore High School in 1946. She was a member of St. Francis of Assissi Church, Mildred. She was also a member of both the VFW and American Legion McDermott Post 452 Ladies Auxiliary. Friends and family may call at the McHenry Funeral home, 119 Carpenter St., Dushore on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Ladies Auxiliary from the VFW and American Legion will pass in review at 7 p.m. The Christian Mass will be held Monday, Dec. 31 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church, Mildred with the Rev. Michael Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Dushore. – Towanda Daily Review
